The word pinatubo means "Made to grow" in Tagalog and Sambal, which may suggest a knowledge of its previous eruption in about AD 1500

Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Luzon, at the intersection of the borders of the Philippine provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga.

In June 1991, the second largest volcanic eruption of the twentieth century* took place on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. 

Lahar

Up to 800 people were killed and 100,000 became homeless following the Mount Pinatubo eruption, which climaxed with nine hours of eruption on June 15, 1991.

Family Summer Fun 2011

My family, especially my little sister wanted to have an enjoyable summer vacation. Good thing I have 2 days off on my summer job and my mom only have 1 week left to enjoy her vacation, she's a teacher by the way. So, I planned..again and again...for our summer trip.
