Tagaytay trip

It's our semester break and we want to unwind... That's why we decided for an out of town adventure...It's a two-hour drive from Manila, kaya accessible siya. Bryan, my friend of mine brought his car, to make it more convenient for us...Nagkasya kaming 6 =). Actually, this is not the main event of our trip... Since Tagaytay is half hour drive from Enchanted Kingdom (Sta. Rosa, Laguna), nag side trip na lang muna... Tagaytay is known for its cool weather, you can find here the smallest volcano, the Taal volcano.

People's park in the sky
It is also known as Palace in the sky, the unfinished mansion of former President Ferdinand Marcos. This place offers a breath taking view of Taal Volcano.
It was built for the official state visit of the former US Pres. Ronald Reagan... wow sosyal! Unfortunately, they cancelled the trip due to Marcos' problem.

Too bad we can't see the Taal Volcano....

I think this old building is the Palace

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Are you wondering why Spongebob lives under the sea? Joke!
Tagaytay City, is known not only for its cool climate but also as one of the leading producers of pineapple in Luzon.

Lady of Manaog's replica in Tierra de Maria Home of meditation and enrichment
The original Lady of Manaoag is formally known as Nuestra SeƱora del Santissimo Rosario de Manaoag or Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag in English. She is the patroness of the sick, the helpless and the needy, and many of the ill have sworn to have been cured by The Lady.
