The word pinatubo means "Made to grow" in Tagalog and Sambal, which may suggest a knowledge of its previous eruption in about AD 1500

Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Luzon, at the intersection of the borders of the Philippine provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga.

In June 1991, the second largest volcanic eruption of the twentieth century* took place on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. 

Lahar

Up to 800 people were killed and 100,000 became homeless following the Mount Pinatubo eruption, which climaxed with nine hours of eruption on June 15, 1991.

Family Summer Fun 2011

My family, especially my little sister wanted to have an enjoyable summer vacation. Good thing I have 2 days off on my summer job and my mom only have 1 week left to enjoy her vacation, she's a teacher by the way. So, I planned..again and again...for our summer trip. A pre-valentine date (part 2)

After the hot air balloon festival, we proceed to the 2nd part of our pre-valentine date... an adventure we'll never forget...

Subic Bay is well know for its sports and wellness activities, beaches and lush forests.

One of the best places here in Subic is the Tree top adventure, it offers 6 different activities (rappelling, canopy ride, trekking, interactive free fall, superman ride, and silver surfer).

Another unforgettable trip with my boyfriend Marvin. I've read something about the hot air balloon festival, and I became quite interested about it. I remembered the movie "The ugly truth" when Gerard Butler declared his love in a hot air balloon to Katherine Heighl, that's so sweet! Thanks again to Google for helping me, I've searched a lot on the internet for some cheap tour packages, but they only have the hot air balloon package which is 900/head. Luckily, I saw Discover Asia International Travel and Tours and they have a great package for only 1300/head. It includes Roundtrip private van transfer, Entrance fee to hot air balloon fest and tree top adventures. nice di ba?And wait there's more, dumaan kami sa duty free to buy some pasalubongs... =)

The main event/attraction is the flight of different multicolored hot air balloons of 27 participants from Asia, Europe and US.

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is an annual event that occurs between January and February at the Omni Aviation Complex in Clark Field, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Hello Bataan!

Christmas break!!! Yehey! Another trip with my College of Nursing friends... =) this time, free ang accomodation namin... =) Thanks to my pretty friend Isabelita Luisa Villablanca a.k.a belle/sab. We went to her cousin-in-law's resort in Hermosa, Bataan...  De Guia Leisure Farm. Sawa na kasi kami sa Antipolo resorts... Para malayo-layo naman, nag Bataan na lang kami. This was not just an ordinary trip...
